Kevin Jame's page
Hello, It's Kevin James. I have not been in touch with any of you after leaving Westbury and going to West Point. Yes, I did graduate, class of 1971. Spent 10 years as an Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces soldier. I then went back to West Point to teach after getting my masters degree in PE. While in grad school at Indiana University, Bloomington campus, I became interested in medicine. I applied to med school and was accepted.
Howard University College of Medicine class of 1985. I spent the next 15 years as an army doc. I am a board-certifed Orthopaedic Surgeon. I got married to a wonderful lady named Rhonda. We met while I was a cadet at West Point. We got married after graduation and we have been together 28 wonderful years. We have two daughters Kellee ( pronounced like kelly) and Robyn 23 and 21 respectively. I retired from the Army in June 1996 after many trips around the world. Even to Somalia during the conflict. I took a great job in Shelby, NC, 50 miles SW of Charlotte. I belong to a large orthopaedic group. ( you want to see what I look like now--not sure you want to see that) click on www.millerclinic.com ; I am the team doc for a small university. I also teach there once a week. I would really love to hear from any of my classmates. We have a home on a lake. Please come visit if you are in the area. I am 35 mins from the Charlotte airport. Love golf and we have lots of courses here.
Later
Kevin.
PS I've been trying to find Pat Coleman and Jon Brower.
