Directions

The refuge, about 30 minutes from Annecy, is on the southeastern slopes above Lake Annecy. To reach the refuge, from Annecy head along the lake towards Veyrier, Menthon, and Talloires. Just before Talloires, catch the road on your left in direction of Montmin-Col de la Forclaz. Go up the mountain, and past the Col de la Forclaz

.On the way back down the other side, you will pass a hamlet (La Côte) on your right, and then another. At the level of this second hamlet (Le Villard), take the road on your left toward Col de l'Aulp.

Drive (slowly !) through the hamlet of Le Bois.

Continue to the end of the paved road.

Park your vehicle at the wide area at the end of the paved road.

The refuge is but a few yards ahead of you, at the foot of Mt. Roux.
